| Novobiocin | 2.5mg |
Preparation
# Dissolve 46g in 990ml of distilled water (purified water)
# Heat and frequent stirring to completely dissolve the medium
# Heat with frequent stirring until boiling (DO NOT AUTOCLAVE)
# Cool to 45-50°C, add 2 vials Rimler-Shotts Medium Supplements
# Mix well and dispense into appropriate sterile containers

Storage
Once opened keep powdered medium closed to avoid hydration and use before the expiry date on the label.
