Columbia Blood Agar Base
The medium is a general-purpose, non-selective medium capable of supporting the growth of most micro-organisms with peptone selective (keep-fresh blood)

Preparation
# Dissolve 42.5g in 950ml of distilled water (purified water)
# Heat and frequent stirring to completely dissolve the medium
# Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes
# Cool to 45-50°C and add supplement.
- Columbia Blood Agar: add 5% sheep or horse blood, mix well and distribute to sterile plates.
- Chocolate Agar: add 5% sheep or horse blood, heat to 80°C for 10 minutes, mix well and distribute to sterile plates
- Serum Agar: add 20% horse serum, mix well and distribute to sterile plates
Quality Control (37oC, 24H), with 5% Sheep Blood

Storage
Store the dehydrated medium tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature and use before the expiry date on the label.

Môi trường đa chức năng, không chọn lọc, dùng trong nuôi cấy cho hầu hết các vi sinh vật khó mọc với peptone chọn lọc (giữ máu tươi và bền màu)

Chuẩn bị
# Hòa tan 42.5g trong 950ml nước cất (hoặc nước đã lọc)
# Gia nhiệt và khuấy thường xuyên để môi trường hòa tan hoàn toàn
# Khử trùng ở 121° C trong 15 phút
# Làm mát đến 45-50° C, thêm chất bổ sung.
- Columbia Blood Agar: Thêm 5% máu cừu hoặc máu ngựa, lắc đều và rót vào các dụng cụ chứa vô trùng thích hợp.
- Chocolate Agar: Thêm 5% máu cừu hoặc máu ngựa, giá nhiệt đến 80°C trong 10 phút, lắc đều và rót vào các dụng cụ chứa vô trùng thích hợp.
- Serum Agar: Thêm 20% huyết thanh ngựa, lắc đều và rót vào các dụng cụ chứa vô trùng thích hợp.
